Maverick Receive Channel 4 Creative City Award
Regional Independent and ACF investee company, Maverick Television, have started their new year with a Channel 4 Creative City Award. The award, which recognises consistent innovative, creative and business acumen, comes a week after their third series of 10 Years Younger hits screens for Channel 4. Chosen by the board from the channel, the award highlights the companies continued success in hi-quality popular programme making and named 10 Years Younger, alongside hi-end public sector broadcasting through IDEASFACTORY and VeeTV as examples of outstanding contributions.
Jonnie Turpie, Executive Chairman and Alexandra Fraser, Creative Director attended the award ceremony on Wednesday 18th January in London accompanied by the Minister of Industry and Regions, Alun Michael MP.
This award comes as a fantastic start to 2006 as Maverick sees a record number of commissions, new senior executive appointments and expanded international and publishing successes.
